- 1 pimentón rojo-verde
- 1 cebolla morada
- 5 dientes ajo

- 1 cdta. pimienta picante
- al gusto o 2 sobres Sal de maggihierbas en polvo
- 120 grs. ciruelas pasas sin semilla
- Para el arroz:
- 500 grs. arroz Diana sabor coco
- 4 tazas agua
- 6 cdas. azúcar
- 1 cda. aceite vegetal
- al gusto Sal
- 6 Clavitos
- 1 rama canela
- Para el puré de papa:
- 2 lbs. papa
- 4 cdas. mantequilla
- 1/2 taza leche
- al gusto Sal

- Hacer el arroz: en un caldero añadir el agua, el aceite, la canela, los clavitos, el azúcar y poner a hervir. Cuando hierva añadir el arroz y mezclar. Esperar reduzca el líquido, tapar y bajar fuego, hasta cuando esté tierno el arroz.
- Cocinar la papa en agua con sal. Cuando esté tierna filtrarla y con ayuda de un colador y una cuchara hacer el puré, añadir la mantequilla y la leche y mezclar bien, rectificar sabor. Reservar.
